We reported earlier that Renault will launch the facelift and new variants of Duster SUV in the Indian car market. This speculations finally come to end when the company officially revealed the Duster facelift, which is expected to be unveiled at the next year's Indian Auto Expo. It is also said that a 4x4 and automatic version of the SUV could also come to the country to offer more options to buyers.
Recently, the French automaker has confirmed that a new 4x4 and automatic transmission variant of the Duster will be launched in Russia by the early next year. The new model will get the 2.0-litre petrol engine that churns out a maximum power output of 135bhp. However, for Indian buyers we expect the Duster facelift with a new 1.2-litre TCe turbocharged petrol engine, which will be coupled to a six-speed manual transmission.
The India bound Duster facelift gets some minor tweaks to both inside and out, which makes it look more appealing than ever. The new model features the dual-tone chrome grille. It also comes equipped with revised headlamps with double-optic units and DRLs, new roof bars, restyled tail-lamps, new scuff plate and chrome-tipped exhaust pipe. Inside the cabin, the vehicle gets the new instrument cluster, steering mounted controls and a new centre console featuring Renault's new infotainment system.
