Honda went on releasing visuals of all-new 2014 Civic hatchback which will field next year at the World Touring Car Championship. This fully potential racer by Honda is designed to take on Chevrolet, Lada and Citroen at the same championship scheduled for next year.
The Civic WTCC boasts enhanced engine performance and bold aerodynamics implemented in accordance with the current regulations. This will result into making cars run three-five seconds faster every lap. This is basically a hatchback version of Civic which would represent Honda at the race. To its exteriors, the vehicle features larger diameter wheels and more prominent extended wheel arches, while the rear sports larger rear spoiler.
The model certainly seems to bound lot of potential which would retain the Honda's World Championship crown, and challenge the rest this season. Two works cars will be run by JAS Motorsport for Gabriele Tarquini and Tiago Monteiro with further Civics to be entered by private outfits Zengo Motorsport and Proteam Racing for Hungary's Norbert Michelisz and Moroccan Mehdi Bennani respectively.
