Honda Freed MPV to come India by 2016?

Honda Cars India seems very aggressive with its strategies in India and is planning to launch several new exciting products in the years to come. The company will launch new City, Mobilio MPV, new Jazz and a compact SUV, could be Vezel in the next two years. Moreover, reports are also claiming that Honda is doing feasibility study in India to introduce a mini car against the likes of Maruti Alto and Hyundai Eon. Interestingly, a report published on ET claims that the Japanese car manufacturer might launch its globally successful MPV 'Freed' in the country.

Honda will bring the next generation Freed, which will also make its global debut by 2015-16. It is a well known fact that Toyota Innova is the most popular MPV in India since its introduction in 2005. The reason to introduce a bigger MPV would be that this segment only comprise of Innova and their is a huge possibility to capture more market by introducing a good product in this segment.

Toyota is also working on the next generation Innova, which is expected to be launched by the 2016 in India. This is going to be interesting, as two models with enormous potential will be introduced at the same time in India. However, it will be a tough task for Honda to beat Innova, which has been the country's top favorite model.
