Ford India registered a remarkable growth of 19 per cent in November as it went on to sell as many as 12,050 vehicles during this period. It is an exceptional achievement as compared to the same month last year, owing to the downfall phase that the Indian auto-industry is currently going through.
Domestic sales of Ford India saw a new rise in the month of November as it sold 7,909 units of its exquisitely crafted vehicles, exceeding by 33 percent as compared to same month last year when Ford managed to sell only 5,994 units. This increase in the sales was majorly contributed by the exciting festive season offers that pulled numerous cutomers into the vehicles and subsequently it resulted in greater sales for Ford. These lucrative offers included free insurance, exciting exchange bonus and reduced maintenance costs. However, the number of units exported remained constant at 4,141.
Secondly, the expansion plan of dealership and service center also came to Ford's rescue as it extended its network in 146 cities comprising of 274 sales and service outlets which also includes the first ever cohesive community outreach initiative in Sanand, Gujarat in November. Vinay Piparsania, executive director of Marketing, Sales and Service, Ford India expressed his gratitude by stating, "We are happy that we continue to register steady sales growth despite persistent market challenges as Indian consumers respond enthusiastically to our smart, fuel-efficient and dependable vehicles." He further added, "At Ford, we strive to provide best-in-class products for our valued customers. This festive season, our smart and exciting offers added to the joys of ownership.”
