The homegrown auto-major, Tata Motors has launched the Nano Twist in the Indian car market for Rs. 2.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bookings for the car has already started and it just costs just Rs. 14,000 more than the regular top-end model. It is being offered in an all-new Purple shade; the NanoTwist features a power steering and refreshed instrument cluster.
The exterior of the new variant looks identical to the regular model, except the 'Twist' badge embossed on the tailgate. The vehicle gets a new 'Damson Purple' body colour, which was earlier feature on the Nano Concept in the 2012 Auto Expo.
The Tata Nano Twist comes loaded with a ZF-designed electric power steering unit. The steering ratio is similar to the regular model, however with power steering it becomes easier to make quick shifts and maneuver the vehicle on busy roads.
The vehicle gets the updated instrument console, distance to empty function, and the interface of the digital trip meter and the clock have been updated. The centrally mounted cluster comes equipped with LED temperature and fuel gauges. The Nano Twist is now available with XT trim.
