We have been constantly updating you about the car manufacturer plans for the upcoming Indian Auto Expo in Delhi. If reports to be believed, the Auto Expo will feature at least 70 car launches, which include facelifts, new cars and concepts. The Czech carmaker, Skoda is also participating, where it will introduce Superb facelift. Moreover, the recent development suggests that the company is looking forward to unveil the 2014 Yeti facelift at the Auto Show.
The Yeti facelift was first showcased at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. It was unveiled in two different variants- Yeti and Yeti Outdoor, which have already launched in several international markets. The former has been designed for the urban buyers, while the Yeti Outdoor, in contrast, targets the off-roading enthusiasts.
Globally, the entry level Yeti is powered by a 1.6-litre, 4-cylinder TDI engine that churns out a maximum power output of 103bhp, while the high-end model gets the 2.0-litre TDI engine producing 168bhp of power. While the urban friendly SUV will be offered with front-wheel drive, while the Outdoor will be made available with both 2WD and 4WD drivetrain options.
The Yeti comes loaded with features such as body-coloured bumpers, side protective mouldings and rear panels to give a smoother, sleeker look. On the other hand, the Outdoor Yeti gets the black plastic mouldings that perfectly suit with the SUV's rugged and adventurous image. Additionally, the facelifted Yeti comes equipped with new alloy wheel designs and fresh interior design features including new seat fabrics, decorative trim pieces and steering wheels.
