Japanese auto maker Nissan which is planning to showcase the Resonance crossover concept at the upcoming North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 15th, has today teased the first images of the car on internet. Revealing a little about the upcoming Resonance concept, Nissan said in a statement, "It is the latest in a series of crossover designs from Nissan, fusing bold styling with a hybrid-electric powertrain."
The Resonance is expected to be the next generation of Nissan's flagship Murano, which was launched back in 2007 globally, and received a facelift in 2010 in the US. The sketch shows a pillar-less door style, strong character lines and a wraparound glasshouse.
Nissan hasn't however revealed any specification of the car, it is likely to feature company's new supercharged 2.5-litre gasoline engine along with a CVT auto transmission.
